Susi Bascon is a London-based artist with Spanish and Latin American roots. She has lived in the UK for the past 30 years but has traveled extensively throughout Latin America, Asia, and Africa. Through her humanitarian and human rights work, she has been exposed to the richness and inspiring values of cultures as far-flung as Nepal, Indonesia, and Colombia.
Her creative journey has been inspired by the many remarkable and courageous people and communities around the world she has had the privilege of meeting, and by her passion for human rights and social justice. She has always maintained a close connection between her work and her art, always seeking to work on something that nurtures her spirit, has meaning for her, and is part of something that positively impacts many people.
