Jimmy Burns OBE is an award-winning author and journalist.

Among his books are The Land that Lost its Heroes about Argentina and the Falklands/Malvinas war drawn from his experience as a Financial Times and Observer correspondent in Buenos Aires (winner of the Somerset Maugham award for non-fiction.)

His more recent books include Francis: Pope of Good Promise and Cristiano & Leo.

Jimmy is a regular contributor to British, Spanish, and Argentine media. He is Chairman the British Spanish Society. Jimmy will be in conversation with Fátima Nollén (journalist and Vice Chairwoman of the AASoc) after which there will be a Q&A.
