The BritishSpanish Society and the Cervantes Institute are delighted to present an annual lecture, which will take place both live and online on Thursday 24 February at 6:30pm.
Led by Enrique Moradiellos, professor of contemporary history at the University of Extramadura, the lecture will offer new perspectives on the role of Winston Churchill in defining British political strategy towards Spain during the Spanish Civil War and the consequences for Spanish-British relations during the Second World War.
The lecture will be in Spanish, with English translation.
Join us in person at the Cervantes Institute, or online via Zoom, to hear Professor Moradiellos share fascinating, broad-ranging insights into this important period of British and Spanish history.
