From the first Romantic travellers to the artistic directors and producers of the main European festivals and theatres at the moment, Europe has played a key role in the construction of the jondo imagery. It has even marked the main creative trends and modified the functioning of the industry itself. This talk will explore the relationship of fascination, closeness, and transformation that Europe has maintained with flamenco and will deep into their respective contributions.
Sara Arguijo has more than fifteen years of professional experience in written press and cultural management and communication in both sides of journalism: managing communication projects and plans for press offices, festivals and artists, and writing for newspapers and digital magazines as freelance.
