The Last Ice project A lecture about adventure, discovery and the impact of global warming in the Earth most fragile environments.
The British Spanish Society in association with Once in Your Life Adventures brings you a very special themed event on climate change with Pepe Ivars FRGS executive and adventurer with more than 20 years experience in expeditions around the world and member of the Last Ice Project team.
Pepe Ivars is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the Alpine Club and a Trustee of the BritishSpanish Society.
The lecture will take you from the remote arctic regions of NWT Canada to the frozen dessert of the Great North in Russia, documenting the impact of climate change in some of the last frozen lakes in the planet.
The event will be moderated by Scott E. Young a Trustee of the BritishSpanish Society and an entrepreneur with many years of experience in investments in renewable energy projects around the world including solar power, water desalination and biomass.
