The Horton Arts Centre Epsom celebrates its festival of Spanish music and dance III Spanish Season: BOLERO this summer with a fantastic array of events.
As usual, they will offer four concerts of classical Spanish music and dance, two masterclasses of Spanish dance and piano repertoire and a pre-talk concert about the dancer Félix García and his collaboration in the creation of the first contemporary Spanish ballet “The Three-Cornered Hat” premiered in London in 1919 (as well as a flower offering in the old cemetery of The Horton mental hospital), Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes and the link of all this with the United Kingdom and the Spanish music and culture.
The festival takes place from 25-27 July in Epsom, Surrey. Head to Horton’s website for full details of the programme.
