The State of Culture: A Cultural Snapshot of Spain in 2022

The British Council developed a report in 2022 on bilateral relations between the United Kingdom and Spain in cultural matters. The idea arose in response to the effects that the pandemic and the departure of the United Kingdom from the European Union had on the cultural exchange between the two countries. The State of Culture is an attempt to provide an updated portrait of the cultural scene in Spain. On 15 March the British Council held a round table in Manchester, accompanied by different entities of British and Spanish culture, to open a space for joint conversation that contributes to strengthening cultural relations between both countries.
