Travel back in time to the Golden Age with the British theatre company Cheek by Jowl’s first Spanish-speaking production at the Teatro de la Comedia in Madrid. Directed by Declan Donnellan and designed by Nick Ormerod, the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico presents “La vida es sueño”, an interpretation of Pedro Calderón de la Barca’s iconic play about freedom and destiny. Don’t miss the chance to see this coproduction by the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico and LAZONA teatro in collaboration with Cheek by Jowl, the Barbican Centre (London) and the Scène Nationale d’ALBI-Tarn (France).The play will run from 15th December 2022 to 26th February 2023 at the Teatro de la Comedia in Madrid (more information here) and ticket sales
