Santander and the British Council offer 5,000 online scholarships to study English and improve employability

Banco Santander reinforces its commitment to continuous learning and language training as a lever for employability and launches, together with the British Council, a new online edition of the Santander Language Scholarships | Online English Courses 2023 , which offers 5,000 scholarships for residents over 18 years of age from 11 countries (Argentina, Germany, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, USA, Spain, Portugal, Poland, United Kingdom and Uruguay).

The goal is for participants to learn English to improve grammar and vocabulary, as well as broaden linguistic knowledge linked to meetings, presentations or job interviews. The program offers five levels of training depending on the level of the participants, lasts 16 weeks and includes 12 online group classes tutored by a British Council teacher.

A 100% online program, at no cost to the beneficiaries and does not require being a bank customer or having a university degree . Those interested can register at this link until April 13.

The beneficiaries of the 5,000 scholarships will have to take a test to determine their level on the British Council’s online English training platform. The content of the courses is eminently practical and is focused on improving the employability of students.

Throughout the course, aspects such as preparing for job interviews in English, grammar and vocabulary for the work environment, establishing professional contacts and developing communication skills for meetings, presentations and talks will be addressed. Upon completion of the courses, students will receive a certificate attesting to their successful completion.
